The search for the light

The holidays had been rather boring for me. I spent my days staying up late, sleeping most of the time and waking up at almost in the afternoon, just in time for lunch. Its a bad routine I know, but with the exception of weekends, where all of us are forced to wake up early to do chores. Its less than 2 weeks more till the starting of my last semester so I should enjoy while I can, which is to sleep and eat at home! :p

Today I did a couple of things, after waking up almost in the afternoon as usual. Brushed up and drove to a place called Motorsport Playground in Sunway. It might sound like a kiddie thingy, but its a shop which specialises in making and supplying car stickers, and they're quite professional from what I observe. Its not a small business either, you often see cars like Porsches and Lambos parked over there to get their cars sticked up with custom fake carbon fibers and vinyls.

I am currently a member of the BLM Club, which is a club for Proton Saga BLM owners. Few days earlier, they have opened the application for unclaimed club numbers, and I was fast enough to grab mine. Motorsport Playground supplies the club stickers and I was required to go there for installation.

The owner (or Boss) of the place, Remus is a friendly chap. The place was indeed like a playground, with racing simulators all around for guests to play, and the lounge was comfortable enough with a large TV playing Top Gear. While I was there to stick up the club sticker, I asked them to stick some carbon fiber sticker on the car grille. Initially I plan to cover a few places with stickers, but the prices they quoted are not cheap. So I decided to do the other parts later.

Sticking work in progress at MSP, Sunway...

Ta-da! The carbon fiber look.

The result, while maintaining the stock look.

My official BLM Club number. Do honk me if you see me!

About more than an hour later, it was done so I head towards Ikea in Mutiara Damansara to get replacement lights for my room. Since the house is under renovation, I could ask the 'mat kontraktor' to help me replace my faulty lights on my computer desk, since one of the bad cats disturbed and broke the plug connector. It was my fastest Ikea trip ever made, since I knew what I wanted to buy, so I got in, got the lights and paid. It was a breeze to park in there on a weekday, as compared to weekends.

Drove back home and started spring clean my room a little. My computer table was in a mess, and to enable the 'mat kontraktor' to install my lights tomorrow, it should be neat enough for him to do the job. During the cleaning, I found several CDs and stuff which I thought I've lost many years ago, and the best part is I found unopened ang pow packets with money inside! hahaha. Its like a mini jackpot! I have always had this habit of keeping unopened ang pow packets with the intention of opening it later, which of course I would forget soon and only open it months or years later. This morning I thought I was a little broke after paying for the car stickers, but my wallet now thicker by a hundred bucks more to spend later.. :D

The aftermath of what used to be a bathroom.

Looks like a scene from the Counter Strike. haha!
