Just a random thought

A question: Would you rather choose somebody who loves you or pick somebody you love, but does not love you back?

There are people and couples I know who are in happy relationships. They love each other and grows closer every day. I feel happy for them and hope for the best for them.

But forever is a word that seems impossible. We are humans after all, and life has to come to a full stop one day. People who are in love would say they love their other half forever and ever, but I have to disagree in a way.

I once heard a joke somebody told me:

"What's the biggest lie you'll ever hear from a woman?
When she tells that she loves you forever."

It seems true to a certain extend, especially you've been repeatedly disappointed by women. Maybe that's just me, because I see happy people around me, and I'm the only one who is pathetic.
